All of your meals are prepared and delivered by Nutrition Services staff members. Please indicate any food dislikes or preferences on the sheets provided. This will ensure you receive the foods that you enjoy.
You may rent a television from Hospitality Network to have at your bedside. Information brochures and payment envelopes are available at the Communication Station. Hospitality Network can be contacted directly at extension 4224. The Hospitality Network representative is in the hospital from 2:00pm – 7:00pm and will visit patient rooms.

If you need assistance from staff, press the call bell attached to your bed. This alerts the staff to come to your room.
Thanks to the support of the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation, through a donation from Cable Assembly Systems, Inc., the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department at the BCHS is pleased to announce that a new wireless system has been installed at the Brantford General Hospital.
This wireless system is available for patients and guests, free of charge. No longer will patients and visitors need to pay fees to connect to the internet. Donations to the BCHS Foundation are appreciated to enable to continue to offer this complimentary service to patients.
This complimentary service is part of an overall network refresh recently completed at the Brantford General Hospital site.
All electrical appliances (e.g., hairdryers) brought into the hospital must be inspected by our maintenance department to ensure that they meet CSA standards. Please tell your caregiver if you are bringing an appliance and they will arrange for the maintenance inspection.
Patients will receive a 'likes and dislikes' form to complete on admission. This will be used to decide what meals to send to you. If you would like any changes or have questions, ask the staff person who delivers your tray.
Breakfast is served from 7:45am – 8:20am
Lunch is served from 11:45am – 12:20pm
Dinner is served from 4:45pm – 5:20pm
For your safety, please keep bedside tray tables clear during meal time delivery.
