Nurses never stop learning
Nurses are frequently described as lifelong learners.
Graduating with their nursing degree and getting their first job is just the beginning.
The nurses at the Brant Community Healthcare System (Brantford General Hospital and The Willett, Paris) are continually upgrading their skills. Many return to school to obtain further nursing degrees and acquire additional certifications. They join professional organizations, attend conferences and workshops, and stay up to date on current evidence-based practices and research.
Michelle Russell and Caralee Bolton are both Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) at BCHS who are passionate about nursing and the importance of continual learning.
